Hotwire UK adds to executive bench with Paul Bowhay as SVP, Global Head of Fintech

[LONDON; JANUARY 9, 2025]: Hotwire, the global technology communications and marketing consultancy, has appointed Paul Bowhay as its new Senior Vice President, Global Head of Fintech, based out of the London office.

Bowhay will lead Hotwire’s global fintech strategy and be responsible for growing Hotwire’s capabilities, products and services, and global client base. Working closely with Hotwire’s 15 global offices, he will continue to build an integrated service offering for FinTech clients to take advantage of the agencies full suite of storytelling capabilities.

With more than two decades of experience, Bowhay joins Hotwire from Cognito, where he served as a Director. He brings with him extensive industry and sector expertise, having successfully built Cognito’s fintech practice, as well as managing and executing communication strategies for a diverse range of high-profile clients including Broadridge, Elavon, Money20/20, PPRO, Liberis, and Thredd.

Paul’s appointment comes adds to a period of significant growth for Hotwire. In October, the agency appointed Alex Wares as its new Executive Vice President of Marketing Services & ABM. Earlier in the year, the agency appointed David Rowan, founding Editor of Wired, to its Global Advisory Board; established a global AI Innovation team; and launched its first proprietary AI tool, GAIO.tech, which helps brands build reputation and influence leveraging AI chatbots like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity.
